Rasing awareness of fire metigarion
In conjunction with the implementation of the activities of the CCCM within the project to protect the vulnerable displaced in the Harem area in Idlib governorate, it was necessary to raise awareness among the displaced in order to make the best use of the equipment provided for firefighting. Accordingly, the BRD organization appointed community awareness officials to conduct individual sessions with families.
The sessions included educational content related to mitigating the dangers of fire, methods of confronting it and preventing its spread, in addition to WhatsApp groups for the residents of the targeted camps. The frequent posting was via group messages and photos.
Awareness brochures were also installed and pasted in the camps at the entrances to the camps, fire extinguishers distribution areas, and between the tents of the displaced, to avoid group sessions and reduce the risk of the spread of the Corona virus.
